Thank you for this long anticipated new episode! I enjoyed watching it,
same as with your previous work.
Just the one question: is it the porn that tore your family apart or the
rather smallmindedness of your parents?

your shortfilms are amazing... it's my new religion!
greetings from Belgium
Olly 18 May 2010, 12:50
So serene and complicated at the same time. Thanks for the video.
NKD 18 May 2010, 19:13
Im totally fascinated by your work. I wanna say "watch out" and "go on" at
the same time. I live in France, and my only work right now is to promote
you and broadcast this fascination to the largest number of people (gay or
not). Thanks.
Tuff 18 May 2010, 22:54
This is an awesome intro! For people that haven't watched the shorts, this
is a perfect hook to keep them watching. I would say one of the best shorts
so far, a few were messy (if thats the word). But it seems you're going
back and revamping your shorts, which is good.

thanks

stuff arrives..keep it up
Max 19 May 2010, 19:37
Beautiful and well done. Covered a lot of background quickly and
artistically. Thanks for another great piece.
jose 19 May 2010, 20:11
wow, beautiful video. And your brother is such a doll. I can't wait to
see both of you having tender/wild incestous sex in front of the camera.
Keep kicking the stablished order Ryan!!!!
Kevin 19 May 2010, 20:48
Such a profound beginning to a compelling story... described in such a
brief moment... I was particularly impressed with the tornado footage in
the last few seconds... was that your original footage?
seaguypnp 20 May 2010, 00:08
I have always been a fan of your brothers since I saw him in Chicago
Cumhole, and learning about his history through your amazing videos makes
me even more a fan and interested in the feature length film your working
on.
Brian J 20 May 2010, 02:06
I've seen all of your shorts and watching this made me want to go back and
see them all over again. I have a feeling that means that if I saw only
this, it would make me want to stick around to learn the whole story. The
first line of a story is supposed to make you want to go on and this is one
hell of a first line.
Damien 20 May 2010, 04:01
Completely intriguing as always. Can not wait to see the full length.
Keep them coming. You are an amazing film maker.
Weralex 20 May 2010, 10:48
Hello,
Your'e lazy? Perhaps. But nice to know you back. To here about your brother makes me - again - sad. All the best for you both. Would be nice to know more about this. This part was a bit short. Take care of you and your brother - and don't forget to cultivate the filmaker in you.

I grew up in a small town in Eastern Colorado. The images of the prairies,
the lone farm houses in those huge fields, and those storms. They used to
terrify me, but I couldn't look away. Thanks for your work.
Barbary 21 May 2010, 01:15
Wow... another awesome vid. I'm really interested in seeing the full story,
and I normally hate that kind of thing.
CJ 21 May 2010, 01:45
I had thought you'd abandoned the project altogether, I'm glad to see you
haven't. I'm at the edge of my seat wanting to see the finished product,
please let me know how to get a copy of the 70 min DVD
Danny T 21 May 2010, 07:32
great work sully. the storms scenes are mesmerizing; i live in OK, same
deal -- not much goin on but the weather. the last scene, with the house
-- i started thinking 'is this the house he grew up in?' then it gets
obliterated by the tornado, and becomes the perfect metaphor reflecting
your life. brilliant. keep it up, man. and thanks.
rawblack 21 May 2010, 09:55

great stuff! when did you expect to issue the length-version?
artemunster 22 May 2010, 08:36
your blog has been removed
Weralex 28 May 2010, 16:29
I have watched it again: wonderful, full of promises!
And you're asking yourself if you where lazy? Of course NOT! Really, I would like to see the whole version .... Why not to publish it little by little.
Philsneaks 29 May 2010, 21:40
This is an outstanding video, Ryan. The music gives a retro-kitsch mood to
the movie, but the whole matter is intense... there's such a rift between
sound, narrative and image... but you make it fit together...
storms/family/TIM, paving the way for your own life. You are brilliant, you
know. :-)
NYtom 02 Jun 2010, 17:35
WOW. I can't wait to see what you do with this. I hope your brother gets to
see it.
ATXrocks 05 Jun 2010, 18:58
Wow. That was amazing. Just beautifully done. Now I want to know more!
Where's your brother? What about your parents? I'm mesmerized.
jm 08 Jun 2010, 05:14
WELL DONE!
Jimbo 08 Jun 2010, 17:49
Wondeful!!!!! I can not wait to see your next film!! Keep up the good
work!!!!
Jim 10 Jun 2010, 20:03
Thoughtful and compelling. Ryan, I hope you'll let this work forge a new
path for you, and that you find your own rules and values for life -- ones
that are truly your own and matured through experience, maybe a little
pain, and hopefully, some fun!
TJ Parker 24 Jun 2010, 01:35
Hmm. Ur stuff is getting so much better.
"The man whose porn broke my family apart?" Ha. Any parents that throw out their kid like trash because he's gay ... is no family.
Brian 27 Jun 2010, 13:13
Wow. I stumbled across this by accident, but I was extremely moved by the
video above. Coming from tornado alley in Arkansas and being gay, I can
relate to what your brother and family went through. I'm intrigued to know
more about you and your brother. I hope he is well; We haven't learned that
yet. You are truly a gift. Thank you.
Brian
TJ Parker 10 Jul 2010, 12:02

PJ 18 Jul 2010, 04:06

charged with murder. i'm so sorry...
Daniel 20 Jul 2010, 20:43
